Welcome & Introduction
The course “Shepherding in the 21st Century” is designed to provide a comprehensive exploration of the evolving role and challenges of pastoral leadership in today’s rapidly changing world. The objective is to equip participants with the necessary skills and knowledge to navigate the complexities inherent in contemporary pastoral roles, effectively engage their congregations, and respond to current events with wisdom and sensitivity. This course will delve into topics such as the impact of technology on the church, financial accountability, spiritual submission, the intersection of faith and politics, and the interpretation and application of biblical texts like Matthew 25 in the modern context.
Moreover, this course aims to underscore the critical importance of building effective networks and cultivating a strong faith community in the 21st century. It will highlight the ways in which pastors can utilize artificial intelligence and other technological advancements to enhance their ministry. Furthermore, it will shed light on the need for pastors to maintain a healthy devotional life and adopt a posture of surrender in their spiritual journey. A significant aspect of the course will focus on pastoral care, emphasizing the need for pastors to remain relevant and responsive to the needs of their congregation in an ever-evolving cultural landscape. Ultimately, this course seeks to prepare pastors for the journey ahead, fostering reflection and growth in their personal and professional lives.

How does MyCBCS Online work?
MyCBCS Online is a work at your own pace online platform. Each course equates to one month. Each course begins on the first Monday of every month. All assignments, quizzes, exams and term papers are due by the 28th of every month. Once your application has been received and approved you will receive an email with your login information.
Tuitions are due on the 1st of every month. Once you have received your login information please login through the “My Account” tab and scroll down towards the bottom. There, you will be able to see the courses that are available. You may also go to mycbcs.online and click on the “All Courses” tab at the top of the page. Once you have purchased your course and you have been approved, you will receive an email stating your enrollment in the course. Following this you will then be able to sign in and access your course through the “My Account” page at the top of the mycbcs.online website.
