Welcome & Introduction
Pastoral Care and Leadership – Part 1 is meticulously designed to equip students with profound knowledge and practical skills in the realms of congregational care and leadership. Through a structured and comprehensive curriculum, this course aims to delve into the intricacies of providing spiritual and emotional support within the congregational setting, fostering a nurturing environment that promotes spirituality, growth, healing, and community cohesion. Emphasizing the application of Bowen Family Systems Theory and Friedman’s concepts, the course seeks to offer students a robust framework for understanding and navigating the complex dynamics within congregations. By integrating theoretical knowledge with real-world applications, students will be encouraged to adopt a Bowen/Friedman lens, enabling them to effectively address challenges and enhance leadership efficacy within their pastoral roles.

How does CU Online work?
Covenant University Online is a work at your own pace online platform. Each course equates to one month. Each course begins on the first Monday of every month. All assignments, quizzes, exams and term papers are due by the 28th of every month. Once your application has been received and approved you will receive an email with your login information.
Tuitions are due on the 1st of every month. Once you have received your login information please login through the “My Account” tab and scroll down towards the bottom. There, you will be able to see the courses that are available. You may also go to covenantuniversityonline.com and click on the “All Courses” tab at the top of the page. Once you have purchased your course and you have been approved, you will receive an email stating your enrollment in the course. Following this you will then be able to sign in and access your course through the “My Account” page at the top of the mycbcs.online website.
